Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Alexis has been a keeper from the age of 5. He is currently 13 years of age. He has been voted keeper of the year (ages 6-17 years of age) in 4 consecutive seasons. He has also been chosen as best keeper at 2 nationally run tournaments by Sportsworx South Africa. He was also given best keeper at Dennis Irvine's (Man United) / DHL tournament held in November 2011. He was chosen as the Eastern Gauteng Goalkeeper 2012 and the Southern Gauteng Goalkeeper for 2013 Currently he is the U13 Mpumalanga Black Aces Academy Goalkeeper In the off season he plays indoor (6 a side) football and again has achieved top honors 2 years in a row. In 2013 after attending a Tottenham Hotspurs clinic held in South Africa involving over 1000 kids of all ages he was chosen along with 13 other players to attend a coaching clinic at White Hart Lane in the UK.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Alexis has Excellent agility and timing. Very eager to learn & Kicks equally well with both feet He has a Fearless approach and is a Fantastic Character. His academic average currently is 84% which indicates his ability to read a game, instruct his defense accordingly and has the ability to analyse and anticipate the opposition striker's moves and take evasive action. Alexis has an uncanny anticipation and has made 8 out of 11 penalty saves in normal size goals in the last two years. His coach has asked that he plays outfield for his school so that he can become a well rounded footballer and has proven to be his teams best central defender and has developed very good individual ball skills.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Alexis has a European passport and therefore there are no travel/stay complications. He is an eager learner and with the appropriate professional network (coach and team) Alexis will never disappoint and could become one of the best ever.
