Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : My Name is Corey Hulme. I am Thirteen years old and I have been playing Sunday league football since I was seven. My first team I played for was Wigston United and I was a left midfield player. I then joined Whetstone Juniors when I was nine and I am still playing for the same club now. I have been playing striker position last season and I scored 55 goals. Whetstone Juniors are on the A426 Lutterworth Road,Leicester.LE8 6NA. We are currently in division 4 but this does not bother me as I like playing with my friends and I love the team I play for. We had a good season 2011/12 as we finished 2nd and also came runners up in the league cup final.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a left footed player but I can also use my right foot but have more power on the left and I have scored quite a few goals from a free kick. My best goal was in a friendly game where I scored just past the half way line as I saw the keeper was off his line. I also play centre midfield for my school team Abington college and I am also team captain. Last season I was top scorer for my school team with a total of 12 goals
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I want to listen learn and improve,My fitness is very good. I came first at my school in 100m 400m and 800m.I beat the schools all time record on 400m but football is my passion. I have a balanced diet. I would like to become a footballer but I do know it requires a lot of hard work and concentration. I am strong and my speed is improving and I am a good holder of the ball until support arrives. My manager says I have good vision and am able to read the game. I like to encourage my team mates and often now say the same when they make mistakes. I like to improve every game and listen to my manager as he has put a lot of development into me. Back in October 2012 I have been attending the Coventry City FC Club Futsal Academy and have participated in some games at the Coventry City Acadmey at the Alan Higgs Centre I did this for six weeks. I also have had interested from Derby County who want to see me again this season coming. If I do not become a footballer when I am older then I would like to take my coaching badges and become involved in football or look at referee courses. At the minute our only fixture been given in at home 2/9/2012 against Oadby owls. We play our home games at Whetstone Juniors,A426 Lutterworth Road,Leicester LE8 6NA.
