Tell us about your football history (Min 50 words) : I had a trial in early 2012 for Fleetwood Town (npower League 2) but did not get on. I have played for Bolton Wanderers. I received the Players' Player of the Year award for my high school in the 2010-11 season. I currently play for Ashton Town under 17s/18s and am eligible to play for the reserves and first team.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have captained every team that I have played for. I am vocal on and off the pitch, a natural leader, encouraging others and offering them advice. I generally get along with everybody who I socialise and interact with. I believe that I am a good player both technically and physically. I am a good reader of the game and like to, when appropriate, play out from the back. I understand the tactical side of the game and am adaptable to different roles and positions. I play primarily as a central defender but can play all across defence when needed and am capable of playing a midfield role. I take criticism well and use it as a way to improve.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe that I am of the standard and possess the correct attitude to make a career out of playing football professionally. I am very hard working whilst also possessing natural ability. I feel that I should be playing at a higher standard that I currently am and would welcome any opportunity to showcase my abilities. I am versatile and like to play in different roles to suit the team, not just myself.
