Mil Palmeras Alevin A 5 v 3 Jacarilla
Team Sponsor: Cash in the Attic.
Mil Palmeras dominated this game from start to finish, and ran out worthy winners against Jacarilla. The margin could of been far greater, if not for the goalkeeping heroics from Jacarilla. A couple of poor performances recently from Mil Palmeras but it was always a matter of time before Mil Palmeras A got into their winning ways. Mil Palmeras are proud to support all of their teams equally given all the players the same opportunities to get positive results hence why Mil Palmeras are challenging in practically every age group. The average age of this team that dominated league favourites Jacarilla is just 10 years. Luke Naylor has grown in stature and Rico Finnas finished off a fine performance with 2 goals.
Mil Palmeras new goalkeeper, was assured at the back and when called into action delivered. Kai Pickford grabbed 2 fine goals making it 6 in last 2 games. Harvey Worthington also added another after a fine solo run. Emily Kelly bossed from midfield, and Jake Scott scored a delightful free kick only for it to be dissallowed for unknown reasons. In truth Mil Palmeras had another 2 gears they could of gone up but gave much respect for Jacarilla. Late on Mil Palmeras could of doubled their tally against a 19 player squad of Jacarilla. Mil Palmeras and Jacarilla have always enjoyed a friendly relationship and what a delightful encounter to be involved in, from a warm and friendly Jacarilla. Great game and well worked Mil Palmeras only the 2nd team to beat Jacarilla and at Mil Palmeras beat them at their own ground. Player of the match George Widdop, well done.
Mil Palmeras 2004 B 4 v 3 Jacarilla.
Team Sponsor The Abbey Tavern.
Performance after performance from Mil Palmeras ensured another fantastic winning result for Mil Palmeras B Team. David Milton Stamm scored with his first touch, Artur could of scored but was denied by great goalkeeping. The Mayor of Jacarilla is the uncle of one of our players, so the win was a little more enjoyable for Mil Palmeras.
Taylor Hirst was solid up front, Enrique Khomenko was tiger like in the tackle, Adam Pritchard was solid in defence and Jed Campbell played well alongside Birthday boy Archie Campbell. Alfred Emmett played well in attack then in goal late on, Ryan Hughes enjoyed another performance which was full of running. Niomi Sheffield deserves a mention to help lead her team into another 3 points. Well Done Tony's Soccer School and Jacarilla.

A titanic battle but another Mil Palmeras team challenging for honours at the top of the table, see Mil Palmeras score a Manchester united style last minute goal to clinch the win. Oliver Godden was a shining star and Ben Naylor was exciting, whilst Birthday Boy Oliver Chapman was commanding in defence. Joe Justice played well out field in the second half and Ruben Breeze looked assured in goal second half. Recnt Birthday Boy Luca Webb hit the bar late on and some how it never went over the line. Martin Naylor manager was proud of his teams performance and called it titanic well done everyone is a well behaved enjoyable derby game which are always great affairs.

Mil Palmeras won again and that is 2 wins on the bounce, for this ever improving team. The coaches are conscious to ensure everyone gets the same treatment and promoting no less than 5 Benjamines to secure a win meant for a large squad to take the points. Bailey Tomlinson scored for Mil Palmeras again and Morgan Earl scored his first goal after given a more advanced role. Home debutant Angel came on late in the game to link up well with the strike force, to help Harvey Worthington and Kai Pickford grab extra goals.
Connor Hirst seemed to have a new lease of life and had great determination and could of scored 3 goals. Ben Naylor enjoyed a promotion to the Alevin B and certainly played well in his spell. Solid goalkeeping was on show from both teams and high pressure enjoyable football which was pleasing on the eye, and as one parent said, 'A great team performance and very very enjoyable'.Pilar de la horadada are great hosts and please and sincere thanks goes to our close neighbours for a great football Match. Watching was a large crowd with real enthusiasm and loads of encouragement well done everyone.
Mil Palmeras 8 v 0 Bigastro.
Team Sponsor Ford Garage San Miguel Martinez.
Yet another title chasing Mil Palmeras team wins comfortably against Bigastro with Niomi Sheffield, scoring a double. Taylor Hirst got the ball rolling with a fine goal, Orlando Breeze was at ease in goal with Kevin Ruiz going in goal second half looked secure at the back. Henry Long perfect as usual, David Milton stamm scored a wonder goal as well, and was instrumental in a number goals including threading a ball through to Alfred Emmett for yet another goal.
Manager Scott Bradley was pleased with Jorge Campbell, and played very well in fact. 8-0 was flattering and could of been double, but for heroic defending from Bigastro. A great encounter played in great spirit as Bigastro have always been respectful of Mil Palmeras and our fine record of producing the finest youngsters in the local area. We ll Done everyone including Bigastro, and a great crowd for an early start.
Mil Palmeras 2004A 13 v 0 Mil Palmeras 2004B
Team Sponsors: Lesonja's Canina Residencia & The Abbey Tavern.
Mil Palmeras A moved up 2 league places after this win and what a great encounter this was. Mil Palmeras B played superb and what a great friendly encounter and a match everyone fully enjoyed. Mil Palmeras A managed a win under new coach following Gary Johnson's decision to move on, who must take the credit for the 2004A teams current league position. Everyone at the club wishes him well and sends thanks for all his hard work for continuing the work of producing a great team.
13-0 win seems impressive but what a game, a family party atmosphere was had by all, and although a high number of players were available for this match making squad management a little difficult everyone fully enjoyed the game. Proud parents see some fantastic football, and even the referee was involved trying to tie the shoe laces together of the A team. Fun, Fun, Fun was the order of the day and games like this make everyone so proud to be involved in football.
