To plan, organise and deliver the Academy Education philosophy.
To teach and support BTEC, GCSE subjects/modules to Academy players aged 9-18 years in conjunction with school curriculum requirements, and as part of the day release programme.
To build and maintain links with current education providers and associated partners and stakeholders such as parents, Local Education Authorities (LEAs), educational agencies and schools/teacher contacts of the Academy scholars and schoolboys.
To develop and maintain an effective education timetable that meets the needs of all participating Academy players.
To procure and manage teaching resources and equipment as required.
To ensure all facilities used by the Academy have valid Health & Safety Inspection Certificates and Risk Assessments on all sites to be updated on a quarterly basis.
Manage parents and schools liaison with the Academy.
Contribute (with regard to players’ non-football development) to the production of the Academy’s assessment of players.
To maintain and deliver effective classroom provision and to ensure that excellent standards are set in classroom management and player behaviour.
Act as the Academy Child Welfare Officer & Safeguarding Officer.
