Mil Palmeras Benjamin's won 7-2 against San Miguel today. With a strong start from the home team, San Miguel where under pressure with Ben Naylor putting Luke Naylor in for the first goal early on. The next 15 minutes were a bit of a stalemate with both side working hard. Bailey Tomlinson, time and again stopped his player who was literally twice his size.
San Miguel got the next goal before Ben Naylor took a quick free kick put Luca in for a well taken goal ...to make it 2-1 at half time. Diego Sheffield promoted to the older age group got stuck in challenging for the ball. Four goals in 7 minutes shows how deadly we can be in front of goal. Ben got his first with a lovely run down the line to beat the keeper near post, followed by a penalty, header and a throw. Luca Webb then completed his third hatrick latching on to a through ball and finishing both shots far post. San Miguel got a goal late on, but fitness was key. Oliver Godden got player of the match for allround hard work . Great match against a strong and big side proving again we can more than compete. Well done to everyone.

Valencian Region Football Club Mil Palmeras got another very good win on a wet sandy pitch. This game was won from the back with some lovely flowing football which resulted in Mil Palmeras quickly taking a 3 goal lead through three excellent free kicks by Ben Nayor, the home team briefly fought back to score a goal.
Half Time 1-3. Tactical change at half time saw Alfred Emmet resume his normal position on the left, with AJ moving into the strikers role, a further 5 goals were scored through Alfred Emmet 2, David Milton Stamm, AJ, and another goal from player of the Match Ben Naylor. This was truly an excellent performance by all, with some good defending from Captain Diego Sheffield, Tiandra Anderson and Paulo Webb holding the back line with William Clayton dictating things from central midfield, Great result well done to all at Tony's Soccer School.

Perfect football start from Mil Palmeras FC, with Real Murcia Academy Player Rico Finnas scoring two great goals coming in from the left hand side. Jake Scott hit the perfect Free Kick again for Rico to grab his Hatrick on the re-bound. La Aparacida scored two goals, probably against the run of play and Mil Palmeras under 12's deserved the 3-2 lead at the half time whistle. More Attacking play was on show at Pilar De La Horadada with Harvey Wilkinson in one of his best performances of 2012 grabbing a header. Kai Pickford scored only to celebrate in style for his dad's birthday. Rico then added the 6th goal. Alevin A debutant Morgan Earl enjoyed a positive performance, with Jamie Macdonald in goal. Luke Naylor continued his development, and Sam Halliday shot somehow ran along the line, and Lewis Long grabbed Player Of The Match after hitting the bar from range.

Goalkeeping was high on the agenda, with Adam Pritchard giving a proud performance in the first half. Jed Campbell showed massive improvent in the centre of midfield, working well with the more experienced Alfred Emmett and David Milton Stamm. Henry Long was a rock and continued his development also trained with the older Benjamin age group this week too. Luca Sloanes probably deserved a goal for his hard work, with Ryan Hughes continuing his development, playing just ahead of Niomi Sheffield and Taylor Hirst. Well Done great performance and am proud of the way every players parents expressed there support and proudness in there children, Thank you.
