Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been in academy football since I was 9 years old. I have been fortunate to work with a number of great coaches including Brain Grant Dundee United, Ian Cathro Box Soccer and Coach at Rio Ave, Portugal, Ray McKinnon Brechin City Manager, Iain Jenkins SFA Performance coach and Alistair Stevenson St Johnstone. In 2012 I was selected for the SFA performance programme, one of 100 players to be selected. I have just started year 2 of a 4 year scholarship.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have played in all positions however in the last two years I have played holding and attacking midfielder (4 and 8) for my club and CB for the SFA Performance School/Regional Squad. I am two footed with a good passing range. I have been told that for my age I have good technique, awareness, mayurity and leadership. I have good match stamina and can mix it pyhsically if required. My HOY is very supportive and I have been fortuante to have played at older age groups 14,15,17 and even u20s this year.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have recovered from a couple of knocks early in my football career and this has made me more determined and strong of character. I have worked very hard for my opportunities and am humble having had them. I am keen to learn further, committed and want to make acreer in football. I am disciplined and lead a healthy lifestayle I am happy with my club St Johnstone however I would like to measure my ability against the best English players of my age to see how I compete. My grandparents stay in Stratford Upon Avon soi could look after me if asked in for a training trial.
