Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Started playing football locally at age 9 then at 13 I got offered trials at Scunthorpe united and Lincoln city FC and opted for Lincoln because it was closer to my house. I have represented Lincolnshire county schools select in a tournament and we reached the semi-finals vs. Essex county schools. During the course of the competition at u14s I have been offered trials from Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich city and Nottingham Forest. These clubs haven’t been ideal because of distance from where I live and my schooling but I am at an age now at u16 were I can afford to do so.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Very athletic. Proving it at regional standard running in 100m finals and gaining a PB of 10.59 seconds. I am very good a stretching the game and this is my best attribute to create space with my pace and power. I am a direct player and my first thought is always if I can go forward but I do like to join in play and drop into the whole to link up play. My back to goal work still needs improvement but I am very willing to improve this to make me a better rounded forward. I like to drive the ball forward and to create opportunities and to commit opponents. I am very comfortable in front of goal and I can finish in many variety of ways. My playing style is compared to Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge who are very positive attackers and can create goal scoring opportunities at any moment.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe as a football player I have all the attributes needed to become a scholar and professional. I stretch the game with my pace and power but can also be very cute in my play and I like to be imaginative as possible and I always try to enjoy my game. I also very honest and I am hard working and I do put a shift in for the team. I will make mistakes but I am willing to learn from them to make me a better player. I play for Lincolnshire County football team which shows that I am one of the better players in the whole of the county. My current club (Lincoln city) have offered me a scholarship but I feel my ability can take me to a better club so I have put on hold the signing of my contract. Many scouts in my area have already approached my parents but due to certain circumstances I have not been able to move forward. I promise you if you give me a chance you will not regret it.
