Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Since I was 12, I have been travelling from Lambeth to train and play for teams in the Surrey Youth League 3 times a week on my own. Statistics: I currently play for Farnham Town FC who for my age group has been unbeaten since May last year. We have won the London International Soccer Festival tournament two years running pre season. We play in the South East Hants under 18 (2 years above) premier league and are currently 6 points clear of the league. We have beaten teams such as Luton town and Basingstoke town recently. Around the end of the season I may have the opportunity to be placed on the bench for the first team. When playing for AFC Wimbledon and Carshalton in the Surrey youth league from under 12’s onto under 15’s I have won the league as well as got to the Surrey youth Cup finals . I have been offered to play for clubs such as Leatherhead youth, Raynes Park, Farnborough youth, Kingstonian and other clubs in the league. During my career I have been scouted by clubs such as Reading (which I couldn’t attend due to travelling purposes), Crystal Palace who even though I got into the academy on trial, unfortunately didn’t offer me a contract and currently Brighton & hove academy have scouted me. As well as this, Woking FC have recently offered me a scholarship at their academy.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Height: 5ft 9'' Weight: 72kg Attributes: I am a sharp, strong player. I prefer to play possession football on the floor. I am capable of playing anywhere on the pitch plus confident in my ability as well as what I need plus am instructed to perform. I am composed and relaxed on the ball as well as make sure I know what I need to do before the ball is at my feet. I have an eye for playing in through balls, pockets and generally playmaking. Defensively I am a very strong aggressive tackler for my team and take no prisoners. I am a good anticipator of the ball when intercepting the striker or opposing attacking midfielder. I am a fast player when driving with or without the ball. Personally I would say my strongest attribute is my fast footwork. When needed I am capable of using my footwork to leave multiple opponents maintaining position for my team.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : What I would contribute to the coaches & Managers: If given the offer I will give my all to the club through training and matches. I am all for my progress as a player and understand I will need to be disciplined and listen plus learn from coaches and staff to get better. I am committed to make the travels to the training sessions and matches for the team plus do my all to impress who teach me in contrast to letting you down. If given the opportunity, I will give my utmost best to the club.
