Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football since I was a child and I have always dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. I have constantly watched and learned from players such as Zidane,Ronaldinho, Ronaldo de lima and up to Lionel messi and Andres iniesta. I actually began by playing any position available to me, even as a keeper because i was quite little back then. Since then I have always represented whatever school or class I found myself in because of my ability to play as a defender, midfielder and forward and taking part in external and internal leagues and have grown up to team player. My combination of speed, dribbling, control, vision and technical ability brought about nicknames given by my peers such as Alfredinho and A.iniesta in senior high school(Grades 10-12)as I had grown taller then and could express my potential better. I have been looking for a chance to show my football abilities which I never found and decided that I must find an opportunity to show my potential when I came to England in 2012. My major football role models are Kaka (although he seems to have lost his touch) and Cristiano Ronaldo because of their shooting, dribbling and pacy abilities especially C.ronaldo who I think is the most complete player. They made me discover my abilities as an attacking player and I have come to realize that my most natural position may be a central attacking midfielder because I am more inclined to find a team mate most times and link up. I am currently in Sheffield which is why I want a trial for Sheffield Wednesday and United.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am currently approximately 6ft 1. I prefer to play in positions where I feel i can score goals, create chances for my team mates pose a real threat to my opponents. I feel most comfortable doing that from the left wing so I can cut in and shoot or as the central attacking midfielder. Also, I am also a good dribbler and a flair player who likes to take on defenders. I can also use both feet to score and pass but I am more natural with my right foot and I am quite good at set pieces. However, I am not very good at heading the ball even though I am a good jumper because most times I am the one who takes the corners or the free kicks and my physicality could also be improved. I am also quite a good finisher but I can obviously improve because I feel that finishing improves with time and confidence. In addition, I also like counter attacking football and I am fast enough for it. Right now, my stamina is not at its climax due to my adjustment to the English weather. In short, I feel as quite a complete player
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I feel that I should be given a trial because I have the talent and the potential to be a top class professional footballer. Also, I am a hardworking person and I know that if given the chance to show my talent in football, I would not disappoint because it is what I have always wanted to be since I was a child and I would work hard and do my best to continue to grow in every aspect of my game.
