Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Currently CLUB: Tempo Overijse Youth LEVEL: 2nd Division Belgium (Equivalent to Championship level UK) 2007 At the age of 12, I was selected by the Belgian National Football Federation to play for Brabant (Brussels ) and they invited me to trial for TOPSPORT School. I was offered the opportunity to study and train with elite sport athletes and was delighted to be part of this specialised training facility. I am in my 5th year at school, with one year remaining. 2010 At age 15, I had a trial as keeper by OHL Leuven 1st National (Premier League) and was invited to join their club. I declined this offer at the time, as Tempo offered me the opportunity to train with the first team and under a coach from Anderlecht. I was determined to set a higher goal, think long term and after much thought I remained with Tempo to gain the experience of training with the 1st team. 2011 At 16, I was asked by KV Mechelen to join their club. The same year, I received a trial with RSC Anderlecht as keeper, but was too young and inexperienced (for the position of 3rd keeper to the first team) the position they were trying to fill. 2013/14 AT 17, today I play with the first team of Tempo as 3rd keeper. I also play & train with the Early Development Squad and U19.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : A as goal keeper I have a good basics; accurate with my hands, fast and have good reflexes. My strongest point is my jump. When it comes to a point in the game, where I am in a " one, on one situation" with the opposition, I am extremely focused and strong. I play with my left foot, but I have a good and precise kick with both legs. During a game I am very verbal, I know I have the best view of the situation and recognise the importance of guidance.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I am hard working, determined and completely focused on my football career. I am a positive person and continually work towards my goal of becoming a professional goal keeper. I am ambitious and motivated. I can focus, I have a winner's mentality. I always want to be the best at practice, because that is what makes you stronger (mentally and physically). I never give up.
