Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : started playing sunday league at the age of 8 and stopped at 15 years old ( for wootton St george) hadtials for rushden and diamonds at 13 and got into the elite team, played for wootton and rushden at the same time (so for two teams) i stayed at rushden for 2 years, eventually got into the centre of excellence by age 15. rushden and diamonds went bust so i left and started play for Libero football academy for 1 season, got offered a football scholarship at age 16 (was playing against players 2 years older than me) but along side this i got trials for kettering town (got offered a second scholarship with them) so had to pick, i chose kettering due to personal reasons. done 1 year of kettering, then left because they went bust (played for reserves and had a few starts for first team) went back to libero and got offered another scholarship, id done 6 months of the scholarship, football was awesome and then one match on January of 2013 i broke my leg which stopped me from playing football until october 2013. Ilost my football scholarship and was unable to play football for 9 months. But got back into it in october and now playing semi pro football again for irchester united
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am calm on the ball, im both footed mainly right however ive changed to left footed now due to confidence with my previously fractured leg. my main strength is running, i have an engine of a body which keeps me going through any game and i am a fast sprinter which helps me defend if my team are in trouble ( i can run 100m in 11 seconds)i never give up and i always try my best to lift the teams spirit by talking and playing to the best of my ability in any game.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : i know there are millions of kids out there looking to become a professional player, ill be honest when i started playing football i wasnt naturally gifted as other players! However i would never give up, i always wanted to improve my game and technical ability so i started to train my weaker foot resulting in me becoming a both footed player (which i think is most important when a pro player) i managed to work my self up the ladder and get a football scholarship, which was a great achievement for me! But to work so hard to achieve that scholarship and for it to be taken away from you, in my case the broken leg i suffered, it was heart breaking. 10 months on ive come back from injury and have managed to secure a place at a semi pro level, i just want another chance to try to get to play for a pro team and i hope you can give me that chance via a trial?
