Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started being in an academy since I was 7 years old. My first academy was Enosis Neon Paralimni, a first division team in Cyprus. When I was 12 and 13 I have been chosen as one of the two goalkeepers that is going to represent the team to summer tournaments at Norway and Scotland. Next I had a two years first goalkeeper at the under-15 team and the year after that at the under-17. Next year when I was 17, I have been chosen as the third goalkeeper of the first team. I made two preparations with the first team, taking part to trainings and playing to most of the games of under-21 team. Meanwhile at my 18 I was chosen to the under-18 national team but due to an injury I lost my position. In the age of 19 I came to Manchester for studies, I went to trails to Oldham Athletic and then to Stalybridge Celtic which has accepted me but then I refused as I was a freshmen to the university and afraid of my studies. Since now I am training every holidays (Christmas, Easter, summer) to second and first division teams in Cyprus and when I am in England I play at my University’s football tournament.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a smart and calm right foot goalkeeper. I am a very good shoot stopper and positioning, good in the air, good and calm with the ball on my feet and good on reflexes. In addition i am very good at communication with the players, I have very good attitude and leadership skills.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I strongly believe that I have the abilities and the football maturity to play in a decent level. I have gained a lot of experiences from many managers and teams in Cyprus which I used to train and I always win their attention and their interest in me even I am not playing anywhere at the moment.
