Write about your football history : I have been playing football since I was 6 years old and has been my main passion in life. I always look forward to matches aswell as training and give my all every time. I have captained the team through thick and thin. I have remained committed to my team despite other pressures of school and family matters I have rarely missed a game. I am at my happiest on a football pitch, whether it be a 5 aside pitch, or full 11, it is where I belong.
Write about your Playing Ability : As a full back I feel that is it is as important to defend as attack, giving the option to go wide and stretch the opposition. I am a hard worker both up and down the pitch and will keep going for the full 90 minutes. I am comfortable on the ball and feel confident to advance up the pitch. I must admit that I am certainly not the fastest but I make up for this in endurance. I feel I am ready to try to play for a professional club like Scunthorpe and show my worth.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I feel should I be given this chance for a trial at Scunthorpe as I have strong connections with the club. My father grew up in the area and sadly recently passed away due to cancer. Although I now live in cardiff we went up there a few times and watched them play. I loved the atmosphere and the fans and with it being my fathers team, I know I would give it my all in a trial for this club. I was delighted that they got promoted this season. The players showed great determination and I have always felt they were a strong club, hopefully I will be able to show my passion for it aswell.
