Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : From the start of my football career, age 10, I've always been a goalkeeper. I had always had an interest in goalkeeping. Through the age groups I've grown up in, my name seemed to get more and more wanted around the Sundayleague level. Aged 14 I went along to a open goalkeeper trial at the Milton Keynes Dons, reaching the final 2 from 150 goalkeeper. This happened through several intense weeks to only be told I want tall enough and not packed enough experience. The following months after the disappointing but encouraging news, a massive growth Spert to place making me reach 6 ft 1. I then took my self over to Brackley Town to gain experience at a high level, the midland junior league for 2 seasons. At my debut game, Dermot Gallagher happened to be my referee and said to me he would bet his career on me making it to a professional level. I am always receiving complements every weekend by parents etc. I want to always better my self and always have but never seem to get an helping hand. I am currently in my 3rd season for Buckinghamshire County Schools football and on trial for Oxford United.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Being a goalkeeper I know a mistake will cost a goal. Working on my basics since a young age has aloud me to create a foundation to build on. My flexibility through judo, allows me to be able to reach more than expected in my goal. With accurate kicking and throwing, I am able to reach team mates in a area of a pitch quickly and efficiently. One and one, controlling the box and collecting crosses is a strong area due to my physical and vocal presence. I ever have a doubt about something I will try to prevent it as it is better tone safe than sorry. I never phase from a physical or mental challenge which helps me become fearless on the pitch. Having open mind I able to mould into a team.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I feel an academy director should offer me a trial, because I have a hard work ethic and who has had experience in the world of goalkeeping for a long time. 'When the going gets tough, get tougher' is a quote I picked up at the art of saving goalkeeper course last year and have lived by it on and off the pitch ever since. You never know something in detail until you try it. I am asking for a trial because I feel it is deserved. If you want something you have to go get it and I want it, big time.
