Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football when I learnt to walk. I then went on to play for a local club at age 5 (St. Martin de Porres FC). At age 8 I left the club to work on my football. After three years of training I went to trial for another local club, I was placed in their B team for half a year, we were undefeated and won every game at least 8/9 - 0. The B team folded and I was bumped up to the A team where I became a regular starting player. I am now in my fourth season playing for this club (Houghton Athletic Youth FC) so far this season I have played 13 games & started 12 in which I have assisted 14 goals and scored 2.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I feel comfortable in every position except goalkeeper. My best positions are left/right midfield, centre attacking/defensive midfield, striker and left/right back. I am able to win the ball high up the pitch and score goals. I am also able to drop back and defend, then counter attack with pace. I am a very good dribbler with incredible ball control & skill. I am able to shoot from long or short range, I can also produce a variety of different shots (eg. Curveball, deadball, knuckleball and outside foot). I am also lightning quick as I run 100 metres in 12.85 seconds.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Because I always train hard and listen to feedback from my coaches. Not only that but I also take on board what they say and act on it. I think an academy director should give me a trial because I have been trying for a long time to get scouted and have never been seen. I need an opportunity to show how much raw talent I possess.
