I have played at a good level of football ranging from championship to non-league reserves, french academies, usa academies and soccer camps, semi-pro and amateur football. I also made it out of thousands of contestants to the finals of the samsung win-a-pro contract in northampton but was unable to make it due to commitments.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Very good. Due to some stoppages in playing football consistently and training consistently, if i was to be given this platform i would most definitely return to my best form. From my Manchester City to Wigton Moor history i obtained a goal ratio of one goal every single game i played which was around 40
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : After numerous of obstacles within my footballing career i haven't had the chance to settle down and play. My upbringing wasn't the best and i was always moving house or area. This meant around 3 years of development missed however once moving to leeds when i was 16 i still managed to show my natural ability and play at a very good level. Since last year i have moved in with my partner and thus my football stopped again for a year whilst i was working and getting used to independent life, bills etc. I am without doubt the one that got away and have come to the realisation that turning 21 and not reaching my potential in football is a major disappointment. I am not meant to be working in a retail store, doing monotonous tasks each day just to pay bills and save up, i am meant to be enjoying my football and freedom on the pitch. I believe my story could be quite inspiring to others in my situation or who are currently experiencing the same as i was when i was younger.
