Write about your football history : I have just turned 7 and currently play as GK for my local team where I live, I was first picked at age 5 ( reception class) to play as GK in the school team for the year above (Yr 1) Everton tournament which we won and took us through to the finals at Finch Farm. I was identified by an Everton scout at a fun night and spent a few months training with a GK coach at Finch Farm, but I was only 5 when this happened and did not have the confidence to continue and play in matches. A little while later I started training with a local team and then went in to a Sunday League playing every game which give me the confidence to carry on. I was then asked to play for another local team and have just won the local minikickers league cup which I got Man of The Match many times. I am now looking forward to playing in the local summer league.
Write about your Playing Ability : At age 5, I was identified by a P.E teacher at having great ability as a Goal Keeper, I then continued on to play/train in this position learning great kicking ad catching skills and wish to continue to progress and keep playing in this position in the future.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I have a great kick and catching ability for my age. I have made many great saves whilst playing for my school taking them to the final of tournaments. And now have great confidence at being a GoalKeeper and hope to be the next Joe Hart one day!!
