Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Josh began playing with Las Vegas soccer schools whilst the family were serving overseas in the RAF. Upon his return he successfully managed to join an already established team at Godmanchester Rovers part way through the season. The following season he was 1st choice winger and played an integral part in the team winning 2 of their summer tournaments and being awarded the 'players player' for the season. In the season so far he has changed positions to a striker/ winger and is currently top scorer in the Cambridgeshire league.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Joshua utilizes his speed and agility to play effectively on the wing. he has sound awareness of his team players and contributes effectively to his teams passing game. he has great positional awareness which has lead to 30 goal this season so far. At school he is an integral part of Hockey, cricket and rugby A teams which contributes to his fitness levels. Joshua is a mild mannered and conscientious player and is always respectful to his opponents irrespective of the result.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Joshua is regularly a stand out player in the Cambridge league and his desire to progress to the next level can only really be met by raising the standards of games in which he competes and being challenged by an ever increasing competitive environment. Although we are currently in the Cambs league we are relocating to Lincolnshire in April hence the reason for contacting a lincolnshire based football association.
