Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Joined Luton Old Boys Seniors (Beds County League Division 1) at the start of 2013/14 season as cover for left back. Awarded a first team place after my first game and moved to central midfield after 7 games. Team folded after a management change in December 2013 and I am currently looking for a new Saturday team. I currently play for Luton Boys U18 (vice captain), we are top of the Chiltern Youth League division 1 and in both the league and county cup semi-finals. Prior to this season I spent 7 years (5 years as captain) with Warden Hill Tigers only leaving when they merged with my current team. Honours included a cup & league double at Under 16s. I play for my college, Luton Sixth Form and we are in the semi-final of the County Cup. At high school I played for the first team in all 5 years, winning the Town & District League, County Cup winner and runners up as well as reaching the quarter finals of the National Cup.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am fortunate that I can play and have played in every position. I am a 6’4” central midfielder but I do have extensive experience in defence and although I favour my left foot can play with both. All my managers have said that I should be playing at a higher level especially when I joined the Adult league, the manager said that having coached in the Skrill Southern league felt that was where I should be starting. Every time I have stepped up a level I found I could quickly adjust and look forward to the opportunity to test myself at the highest level possible.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : All I have ever wanted to do was play football, I enjoy all aspects of the game especially the training and tactics. I am loyal to my team and club and have enjoyed spending 8 years with the same outfit meeting new faces and building a winning team together. I am respectful, polite and have the ability to communicate and build relationships with people of all ages, faiths and from all walks of life. Football is my passion and I believe that I could be a valuable member of any squad should I be given the chance to prove myself.
