Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Had a season playing for Kings Lynn Town Elite as an U16 player, i graduated in May 2012, I played every game for the academy throughout the season which included fixtures against Norwich City, Peterborough United and York City . I then had a season at Downham Town before moving to Fakenham Town in the summer of 2013, this was when I decided I wanted to push myself as a footballer. About, 10 weeks ago (Mid October 2013) , i was scouted for Norwich City and have been training with them since then and it looks as if I will be continuing there in the new year. I'm not quite sure where that's going to go but the experience has been unbelievable. I have also been selected to trial for the England Colleges U19s National Squad, i was successful in the 1st stage of trials. I was playing for my College's Elite Academy as first choice keeper before leaving for personal reasons involving my training with Norwich City. I have also been selected for my County U18s squad this year.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a young goalkeeper who is trying to push himself to play at the highest level he can. I am a 17 year old, who is a confident lad and I love a challenge. I am 6ft 2in tall and weigh 72 kg. I am a good shot stopper who is good in the air. My distribution is strong and i am constantly talking to my defence. I feel two of my strongest attributes are my attitude and my mentality because i work hard and want to improve every day. I have never really took football seriously till about 3-4 months ago when i moved to Fakenham Town. Since then, my game has gone from strength to strength thanks to the support i've had from the coaches and staff there.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Because I am a young lad who gives 100% in everything he does and wants a new challenge. I love playing and training and I am always looking to improve my overall game. I have a positive attitude to my football and I am very committed. I never give up and take any and all feedback on board. I feel given the opportunity I have the ability to do well and progress as a goalkeeper. All I’m looking for is a chance.
