Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I joined my local side Malmesbury Youth at U7 level and played in a number of positions including Goalkeeper, Central Defence and Midfield. At U13 level i then moved to another local side in the Swindon/North Wilts league where they were playing in Division 3. After a re-structure of the teams we went on to win the Division with a goal difference of +94 and not dropping a point throughout the season. We then progressed to Division 2 where we ended the season in 3rd place qualifying us to Division 1. This was where we found our turning point, finishing the U15 season in last place in the league with a grand total of 1 point. In my season as an U14 i showed my leadership strengths and capabilities and was made captain of the side. I have represented my school (Malmesbury School) and played as captain and finished the Year9 season as top scorer after a sudden transformation from Centre Back to Striker.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My strengths are as an attacking winger (either side preferably left) or as a striker/target man. I have shown myself to have good leadership abilities with in the team and have the ethic to achieve and progress my game and abilities aswell as the team's. I show promise in accurate passes, crosses, free kicks and speciality corners. I have the ability of running with the ball, especially down the wings, making the right moves off the ball to assist in team build up or defensive play.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe i should be given a trial because it will be the first opportunity i have to show and prove myself in the game and also to adapt my own personal way of playing and performance. I can commit to the task in hand, work hard in both match and training situations and have the willingness to learn and structure the way i play the game, and i believe an academy environment where the opportunity of future professional football could become a reality and reach the dream.
