Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started with island boys whilst in Junior school, my position then was striker and I was top goal scorer for two years, it was a position I loved. I continued with this position when I went and joined Canvey island Whites this is now my third season with them. after the 1st year season and due to lack of a goalkeeper, I wanted to have a go at this position. later finding out that this was a position I became very good at. this is now my second season as goalkeeper and I find that I am progressing more and more each time I play. receiving the recognition and praise from both my managers and opposing managers as well as parents and players from both sides, has made me stop and think that maybe I do have something to offer.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I'm a keen, good all round player. in my position as Goal Keeper, I am confident in instructing my defence. I have a long kick this is both in the drop kick and dead ball. this season I have only let in 8 goals, I know the defence also play a big part in preventing the ball reaching me, but I have done some amazing saves. more importantly I am a team player
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I know at my age there is not a lot of opportunities to be scouted or get trials. I love football it's my passion and something I believe I am good at. I would just like to be given the opportunity to show you just what I can do. I often receive comments from the opposing team managers praising me, this has given me the confidence to put myself out there and hopefully get recognised and help progress me in the sport that I love.
