Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started football when i was 10, started at Santos 15, played for the under 11 7 aside every saturdays and under 12 11-aside every sundays, was a centre midfielder at the time. Then the teams broke up so I went to St Mochtas F.C u13's(DDSL C), where i was captain for the season and a centre midfielder,after a season with them i got promoted to the DDSL A St Mochtas team for under 14's where i converted to a Left back for the season. After the under 14 season i went to Mountview Boys F.C under 15 DDSL B, where i went back to being a centre midfielder, and also had my first ever Awards Ceremony and got awarded Player of the Year! I then went back to St Mochtas DDSL A, under 16's(last season). For the start of the season i was a left wing, but then i settled at left back, had a great season, scored from the halfway line in the All-Ireland against Lucan United and started every match and majority of the time i got my full game, just as before. For Pre-season this year i passed my trials with Bohemians F.C under 17's NDSL Premier, i was in the last 18 players standing and i was the last player that got let go because the managers decided to shorten the squad down to 14 players. So i went to Corduff F.C under 17s NDSL A this season, where I am a left back, so far its been a good season. Thanks for taking your time reading my brief football history!
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I'm a team player, I always try my best to lift my team mates heads when they drop on the pitch, and if there is a player not able to play for whatever reason, in their position and there is no one else to fill in the position, i will volunteer and try my very best to do the job. I am very hard working and never give up, no matter what score it is. I am both footed, which is a great advantage to me, originally right footed but i trained with my left foot just as well as my right foot ever since i was 11. I am not selfish at all, my past managers always complimented me on my selflessness as i always release the ball as soon as i see a player available or a chance to set a player up. I never give up when the opponents are on the ball, if an opponent gets past my team mates i will drag into theyre position to jockey the opponent with the ball to slow them down and put pressure on him and try get the ball off him. I always push myself to make sure i do the job right.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An Academy Director should give me a trial because I am very hard working and always push myself to have more potential than expected. This season I am making sure, that if i get a trial off an academy director, that the director will not look back on giving me the trial as a 'waste' of any sort, because Im pushing myself by training 5 days a week and 1 match day, mondays i train for my schools athletics club (Colaiste Pobail Setanta), tuesdays i train with Corduff F.C, Wednsdays i train with my schools under 17 football team(division 2), thursdays i train with Corduff again, and saturdays i go on a 40 minute run, and every sunday i have a match with Corduff.
