Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Having played football from the age of 6, I have a passion to play at academy level. I played for teams which were older than me. I played for Redby where we won the Russell Foster Premier league 6 times in a row as well as 3 county cups and 2 league cups. I moved to Roker to enjoy with my friends and have captained them to the league title. I was getting watched by scouts at 14 until I had a knee injury which ruled me out for a year. When I returned I was moved from the wing to a more central role due to my dominance on the pitch. I have played numerous times against Sunderland, Newcastle and Middlesbrough academies, as well as playing abroad when younger against a Cypriot u16s team when I was only 13.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Dominating midfield player who plays a deep lying playmaker/old school role. Loves breaking up play, tough tackling who harasses players, never giving them a moment to turn. Good passing range, who can use both feet to good affect. Not too much on the goalscoring front, more defensive. Excellent in the air, who has a nick of scoring off corners. Very dangerous at set plays.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : Passionate and the commitment to make it as a pro. Has the ability and determination to prove myself that I can be in an academy. Should give me a trial because I study football and can read a game of football which to me is key if you want to make it as a academy graduate. I have leadership and willingness to show my attributes, with my love of football shining through.
