Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started off playing football for Burghfield around 10-11 years ago, shortly moving onto Theale Tigers A team. Then my dad decided to create our own team in March 2002 called Calcot Hawks, and during the 10 years of playing for them, I had unsuccessful trials with Reading and Aldershot, and (as far as I was aware) was successful with Southampton, playing for them for almost 2 seasons, for then they went into administration and I was released from the academy. Since them I've played a brief 4 games for AFC Baughurst (adults) as a striker, and have recently just joined AFC Burghfield (adults) as their reserve goalkeeper.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I feel as though, generally, my ability as a goalkeeper is of a high level. The only downside to my playing, is most definitely my fitness. My fitness was always of a high level, but now due to the fact I never got anywhere, and I'm now at the age of 17, I have let that slip quite drastically. My key goalkeeping abilities would probably be my reactions, my confidence, or shot-stopping, basically.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I just feel like it's my last chance at getting to where I have always wanted to get, which is playing at a reasonably high level of football. I had a few glimmers of hope in the past, but nothing which really worked. Once I get my fitness back up, I genuinely feel as though I have what it takes.
