Write about your football history : I first started playing Football at the age of 6 when my father took me to my first training session for a team called All Stars united.I remember scoring 2 goals in the training session and also I really enjoyed it. The fact that I was the only left footed player there made me stand out among the other players that were there. The coach asked me to join that day and from then, I knew that I had a talent. I scored 1 goal on my debut but unfortunately we lost 2-1 but the fact I scored was enough for me. I stayed at the club for 5 more years until I moved area so I had no option but to leave; this was truly heart breaking knowing that I had to stop doing something I enjoyed so much. I did not play football for the 3 years after I moved but luckily, it had no effect on my ability. I later joined another team in Kent called Lords wood tigers. I was injured at my first training session but the coach still said I was outstanding and he can’t wait to see me when I am fit. I stayed at the club for about two seasons and during that season there was a huge tragedy. During a tournament I was fouled unfairly which resulted in me falling over awkwardly and snapping both my radius and ulna bones in my arm. I was rushed to hospital and treated as soon as possible. Some would give up after this stage but not me; I wasn't going to let an injury stop me from pursuing my dream so, I focused on my arm healing as soon as possible and returning to training. My first match back, I was brought on in the second half with 15 minutes to go, we were 2-0 down. As soon as the ball came to my feet, I ran down the flank and crossed the ball which resulted in us scoring. and then during the last minutes of the game i scored a header which brought the game to a 2-2 draw and that day I was very pleased with myself and I told myself that this is the time for me to step up and start performing so that i may be scouted as soon as possible. Although we drew 2-2 and I scored and created the goals, I was still disappointed that we did not win because anything less than a win means that you have not tried hard enough and you have not put in 100% effort, this made me more determined to play better in all games and never give less than 100%. Later on I decided to leave the club because the players I was surrounded by were not as serious as I was about football so, this resulted in me moving to a team in a higher division which was a new challenge and it has been the best decision i have made since my football career has started. The players are all serious and actually want to become pro. The coaching is of much better standard and I feel more appreciated for my ability, at this club. The name of the club is Bearsted FC and they are currently in the south east Kent youth league; although they finished low in the table this season due to minor errors and unfortunate decisions from referees etc., I truly believe the next season will be better but I am hoping to move on and get scouted by a pro club so I can make it as a professional footballer.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am Left footed and confident on the ball. I am very fast with and without the ball. I can strike the ball from outside the box with power and accuracy. I am skill full and have very good vision and a great first touch. I can dribble with a ball and make good runs whilst off the ball. I am about 5 feet and 8 inches tall and I am strong with and without the ball. I can cross the ball well and I have an eye for goal.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : An academy director should give me a trial because I have a natural talent that has not been taught to me. I play football with my heart and i am always looking to improve. I would be a great addition to a professional club because I am able to mix well with other players. Also, I can take criticism from a coach or a manager very well because I know that they are trying to help me to improve so I take everything on board and show quick improvements. An academy director should also give me a trail because when I play football, I stand out and I noticeable. I work hard in training and when I get onto the pitch I let the football do the talking. An academy director should also give me a trail because I have the ability to add a new element of of skill to a team and I never fail to impress
