Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started going to Valerios mini soccer school in Bedford when I was eight then after a year I got in to the under 9 team but left after a while as the coach used to shout at everyone. Then when I was 10 I went to a trial for Oakley Rangers Under 11's and got into the team as goalkeeper because that's my favourite position. I have had goalkeeper training for about 18 months with CJ Hissey specialist goalkeeper coach. I got picked to play in goal for the North Bedfordshire Schools Federation for a tournament in Denmark. Last May Oakley had a 6 a side tournament in Woburn and I got invited to trials at Luton Town but I didn't get in to the academy. Now I have training once or twice a week with Lee Harper who used to be a goalkeeper at Arsenal, QPR, Northampton and Kettering because I want to get better and get in to an academy.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I think I'm quite good in goal because I've been man of the match quite a few times and the other managers have said it to me as well. I am good at shot stopping and am not afraid to dive in at the striker's feet. I am good at collecting the ball from corners and I think my distribution is good.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think I should deserve a trial because I already had one at Luton Town and didn't get in to the academy, but it has made me work harder by getting more training. I am only 14 but I am 5'11" so I should be quite tall when I am older which is good for being a goalkeeper and I really want to be a professional goalkeeper.
