Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football when I was five years old. My brother and I used to train at our local park until my dad took my brother and me to train at West Ham United academy when I was about eight years old. At West Ham I was able to learn skills and techniques to improve my football ability such as being able to pass, dribble and shoot. It was a great and fun experience. At my school we also played football. I still remember my P.E teacher saying I was a gifted player and had a great left foot. When I was 10 years old I started playing for Westwood boys.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My stamina, speed and acceleration are good therefore I have the energy to chase the ball when defending or attacking. I also like to pass the ball as soon as possible so the opposition have a harder chance of the getting the ball. My attacking is also good because I have excellent and accurate shots and make good attacking runs. I can also header the ball well and shield the ball from the opponent. Passing and switching the ball is also one of my strengths.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think you should choose me because I know that I have the ability as well as the potential to become a professional footballer. I don’t get dragged to the ball which is a great skill for a defender to have. Other qualities I have such as strength, stamina and speed (ect) can also help me become a professional football player. I recognise that I may need progressing in some areas of my football ability to achieve the highest level of football at my age. I also understand that a lot of hard work will be needed. However if you give me this trial I will have the chance to show you how much I take football seriously and hopefully I’ll be able to impress the scouts that watch me. If you give me this trial it will also build up my confidence when playing football and can also help me develop my attitude towards footbal
