Write about your football history : Since the age of 9 I’ve been playing football. The first club I played for was Ryan FC where I scored 3 goals in 28 games, scoring one goal on my 10th birthday. When I was 13 I played for Wadham FC, where I scored 5 goals in 36 games. I also played for my school team (Holy Family) where I scored 10 goals in 5 games.
Write about your Playing Ability : I have the ability to use both my left and right foot and can dribble the ball with pace and control. For example, I can cross the ball accurately to another player using my less dominant foot while taking on another player at pace. I have the ability to move forward towards the opponent goal and use my vision to play the ball wide into space or play a simple pass to create an opportunity for my team mates to score. I also have the ability to score goals from tight angles using many techniques such as curling.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I am hardworking, dedicated and determined individual who loves playing football. I believe I should be given a trial because I am reliable, trust worthy and compliant. My dream is to play professional football and by being given this opportunity I can start my journey. I will bring to the team good communication, commitment and organisation. I am also a good listener who can manage criticism and be respectful of others.
