Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I first started playing football at Barr Hill JFC in 2006/07 at the age of 8 years, then i moved 2 seasons later to Swinton Junior Football Club, where I played as winger (left and right), and striker. I became known at the latter club for my speed and acceleration with and without the ball, my dribbling and crossing skills, my use of space as well as my free kicks. Swinton unfortunately folded and i moved to Deans in 2011/12 where i played consistently well, both as main striker and winger (left, right). However, i moved to Moorside Blues in 2012/13 where I played different positions: main striker, behind the striker, and left wing. In the same year, I had a successful 6 weeks trials at the Advanced Development Centre (ADC) in Manchester, and stopped my commitment with Moorside in mutual consent with the manager.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My playing abilities are based on different strengths: A very good acceleration with and without the ball; A tactical intelligence i.e. the ability to make the right runs depending on the game situation, the ability to go into the spaces to open up the game at the right time etc... Also, I have a very good range of passing and a very good vision and reading of the game. I can dribble the ball past players as well as knowing the right time to dribble and the right time to pass. One of the strengths of my game is also the good quality of my free kicks and the technique of my shots. I also believe that I have a very first touch which allows to easily control the ball and avoid loosing easily. Beside these qualities, I am person that is willing to learn and develop, with a good work rate on the pitch. Those are the attributes I rely on to currently play at a high level.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An academy director should give me a trial because I believe that I will be a huge asset to any team, given my range of talents, my good character as well as my positive attitude towards managers' instructions and advice. Also, my hunger and determination to succeed at a high level will be valuable to the success of the team, and contribute to the good reputation of the academy. I have a great tactical awareness and understanding of the game which were appreciated in my previous teams. I believe that it would also satisfy any academy director to add in a player of these abilities, even if it means to help fine tune his qualities.
