Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have played for many Scottish teams, becoming number one goalkeeper for them. I originally started out as a right sided midfielder,playing for my local Sunday league side. When one of my team mates got injured,I had to fill in and play in goal.After that point,I discovered I had a talent and passion for goalkeeping.I then tried out for a local team and has a successful season in goal for them.I then had short spells trialing for professional teams Dundee and Dundee United. After being successful in a trial,I signed a contract.After being injured for a while,my contract was not extended. After recovery I signed for a local team, in which I played their for 2 seasons, before the club folded due to not having enough players.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have a passion for football and goalkeeping holding a season ticket at Dundee United.I am an agile, fast 6 ft goalkeeper with a main strength in the air. I prefer kicking from the ground, and adopt a more acrobatic style when it comes to saving shots. I have a very high level of fitness, also competing in county and national running and fitness competitions,whilst attending gym sessions regularly.I often receive positive feedback by experienced coaches and players who encouraged me to try and gain a trial at a higher level club.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have a passion for football and also have a high level of confidence in my self to be able to become a professional goalkeeper. I am willing to move to a place where I can receive coaching and experience to help me improve. I practice and train between 5 and 6 times a week, whilst regularly watching and supporting Dundee United.
