Write about your football history : From the age of 9 to 12 I played for various local clubs namely Mondeor Meteors, Robertsham Callies and Balfour FC, during this time I won several trophies and medals for the Highest Goal scorer of the season, Highest Goal scorer of the tournament and Player of the Year. I attended trials as the youngest player for the Espire Africa Football Dreams, where I made it to the last 10 from players all over the country. I then joined Bidwest Wits FC Academy as Captain of the team. I was approached by Orlando Pirates to join their U17 team who was invited to participate in the Future Champions Tournament, we were placed 6th. We went on to win the Nike Premier Cup tournament, and we represented South Africa in Manchester England in the Finals, we were placed 13th. I was then promoted to U19 and played as a Right Winger where we played at the Engen Tournament,we were placed 6th. I was then chosen to represent South Africa at the U20 World Cup qualifiers. I have 2 Caps. I was approached by Mamelodi Sundowns Head Coach to join them, which I did after the Academy at Orlando Pirates was closed down.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a strong, athletic young man. Because I have a passion for football, my work ethic is strong, I constantly strive to improve my skills by attending extra coaching lessons and one-on-one training. I am a versatile player that can play in any position when necessary. My skills include one on one challenges and dribbling pass opponents. I am quick with and without the ball. I am a visionary player that is constantly aware of my surroundings, this helps me to make runs into good areas that allows in creating and scoring goals. I have the ability to make crosses and score goals with both my right and left feet.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I believe that God has given me a great talent in football. Thus far, I have many accomplishments, given the opportunity, together with my skills, discipline, talent and dedication, I believe I have the potential to become a professional Footballer.
