Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I began to play football when I was aged 12 at a team named Sheerness East. Since then I have progressed to a more improved side named Little Sharsted FC who are now entering the Kent League. I feel that this was a great step and a great opportunity for myself as I knew the level and quality of football was going to be a lot tougher and more experience would be needed to cope with the pressure. I began as a rookie player with very little experience and now I have gained a lot of experience playing opponents of different levels throughout the years.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : The way I play football is very different to many young players of this day and age. I am an attacking player who has a huge amount of speed but I am always ready to sprint back and defend a counter attack or any other attacking play carried out by the opposition. My first ever position was at RB in which I excelled and received my first man of the match award on my debut for Sheerness East at the age of 12. My manager then realised that I was a fast speedy player so he gave me a few trials at RW which worked wonders for myself and the team. We had more attacking options as the oppositions defenders found it difficult to mark me because of my speed. I then played for Little Sharsted and played LW/RW/RS/LS. This is when I became more of a threat in front of a goal and two seasons ago I claimed the Golden Boot award.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think I should be given a trial by an Academy Director as I think it would be a great opportunity to excell in a sport which I love. Many things could happen from this trial which is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many youths. There could be positives where I could learn more skills and adapt to become a better player, whether it would still be for the club I am currently at or if the trial is a success to lead to the possibility of being scouted. There are not really any negatives other than not doing so well at the trial and having to understand that football at a professional standard isn't the right choice for me. I am always aiming high and putting in as much hard work as my mind and body can take. I am a dedicated young man who will not give up, regardless of the situation. If my team was losing hugely, I would still have 110% heart in the game and I will battle for a chance to reduce the deficit or maybe even win the game until I hear the final whistle.
