Write about your football history : I started playing football when I was aged 5, for an U8 team. Over the years I have played in teams of the higher age groups, so I have been playing against older players. I have been captain of my age for Marine FC since I was 7 and still am at 17. I have been topgoalscorer for Marine FC for the past 10 years, and I have also received player of the year for a majority of the 10 years. I represented the Hightown JFL league from when I was 12 until I was 14. I have represented the Liverpool County FA at u17 and u18. Also I represented my school, which I was captain for from year 7 up until I left in year 11. I have had trials for, Liverpool FC, Wigan Athletic FC, Manchester City FC, Blackpool FC and Accrington Stanley FC, who all said I was good enough to become a footballer. Also I have trained with the Southport FC first team. I have also attended the Nike chance 2013, which are trials for the Nike Academy.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a centre midfielder who has an eye for goal. Each season I score at least 15 goals. So I am a very good finisher and very confident in front of goal. I also have good vision, so I can always see my next pass. I read the game very well, so this gives me an advantage as I can predict what will happen next. I am a very good passer of the ball. I am good at short passing, long passing and especially through balls. I set the tempo of matches by controlling the game. I understand when to slow down and speed up the play. I have a good first touch, so I am able to set myself for a pass or shot quicker. I have very good cardiovascular endurance, so I can get up and down the pitch easily.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I am very passionate about football, so I give 100% in every match and training session. My whole life, runs around playing football. I am also not the typically centre midfielder, so I would bring something different to a team. I am able to bring the best out of my team mates, due to always giving them an option when they're on the ball. I can beat the opposition when on the ball to get into a better position for myself and my team. I have received many know backs through the years, but I have not let this effect me, it has given me even more motivative and determination to become a footballer.
