    U18 FOOTBALL TRIALS Harry Whitehead

    Harry Whitehead
    Age : 17
    Your County : Hertfordshire
    Your Nationality : English
    Best Position : Right Midfield
Current Club : Nascot Wood Rangers U18's
    Previous Clubs : N/A
Which Club you want a trials for : Watford, Arsenal, Fulham, Leyton Orient
Country you live : United Kingdom
Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been playing football since the age of 6. And have been playing Sunday League since the age of 7. In that time I have been at the same club and have captained them since I was 10. At the age of 9 I had trails for 5 weeks with Watford FC. At the end of this trial period they declined me, but since then I feel that I have grown as a footballer and have become a much better footballer at that. In 2006/07 & 2007/08 seasons I captained my side to the finals of the U11's Invitation Cup and the U12's Spring Shield of which my side won both, 4-3 and 3-0. Since then my team hasn't won anything, however in the 2010/11 season we came runners up in our league by a measly 2 points and ever since have been battling it out to get first place. Also in the 2010/11 season I accompanied my school (Westfield CTC) to the final of the Watford School League of which we won 2-1 in the final. Recently I have really wanted to be able to try and get into professional football, even at a lower league level as I would love to be able to play for the fans and give back to them what I have learnt over the past 17 years of my life.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : When playing I have a very direct approach. As a right winger I use my blistering pace to beat defenders to balls and to take the ball around them and attack the box. I also have great vision when on the ball, I can hold up play look up and pick out a great pass to a player making a run on the other side of the pitch with great accuracy. Because of this many of my team members have described me as playing like Theo Walcott or Jack Wilshere!
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An Academy Director should give me a trial at their club because I can bring a positive attitude into any team! I can help other players focus on the game when their mind is elsewhere and help them improve throughout a match by pointing out to them other players weaknesses so that they can exploit them.
