Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Playing Experience Timeline- 2003/2005- Aged 9, scouted by Blackpool playing Sunday league football and signed on with their center of excellence playing as a center midfielder, about 4 games into the season I changed to a striker and finished the season on 29 goals in 22 games and also received 11 man of the matches. 2006/2008- After spending just over a season with Blackpool’s center of excellence I was released due to a serious injury I received which stopped me from playing for over a year, in 2006 when I started playing Sunday league football again I was scouted by Preston North End and I also represented there center of excellence playing as a striker scoring 15 goals in my first season at under 12’s the next season at under 13’s I finished on 32 goals. 2008/2009- In 2008 my family moved to spain and I started playing for a local junior side in Malaga at under 14’s , I only played 5 games at under 14’s but scored 12 goals, I also played for this team at under 15’s , I played 4 games of the season and I was scouted for the Malaga youth side at under 15 level, I played 11 games for there youth side scoring 23 goals, due to family issues I then had to move back to England so I had leave that squad. 2009/2010- when I returned to England I returned to my local side Todmorden Borough for the under 16’s season, I played for them at center midfield and was also the captain for that season, I finished with 14 goals and also 18 man of the matches out of 22, I was voted player of the year by the league representatives and I also got asked back for trials with a semi-pro team in manchester called Staylybridge Celtic. 2010/11- I got onto the Staylybridge reserve and under 21’s squad playing at right back (left if needed), striker and right midfield, I have scored 15 goals this season for there reserve squad and have been called up to the first team 5 times in my first season. I also got accepted into Burnley College where I represented the first team’s football academy in my first year, our first season at college has just finished with us winning our league by over 12 points and I finished top scorer in the league with 22 goals. 2011/Present Because of my commitment to my education i could not really commit to my duties at Staylybridge so in 2011 they terminated my contract. After this i rejoined my local amateur side Todmorden Borough , since signing for them i was promoted to the first team straight away and have been an ever present ever since, i have played in a variety of positions starting at full back , then was promoted to striker and then solidified myself in the centre of midfield where i have played ever since.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have a very techincal style of play , im not the strongest player , im not the biggest player but my technicality and speed more than make up for that , my main playing attributes are my passing , my speed and i am also very confident in using both feet , i have experience in playing a variety of positions aswell. I am a very confident player who likes to be heard on and off the pitch , i like to make myself known around the team during games and training. my only two weaknesses as stated before are my height , for someone of my height though i am fairly strong and can hold my own very well if need be.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : i have experience at playing at the highest level , i have played there reguarly from a young age and now i have recovered from my serious injury i feel i am ready and able to make it back to a high standard , i give my all everyday when playing football as it not only my dream but also my passion , i am never more happy than when i am playing football and i show this on the pitch.
