Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : At the age of eight, i joined 'Go Football Bolsover' i attended it for two years and i really enjoyed it and in my second year i got 'most improved player' and from then on i got noticed by a manager of my local football team and i joined Shirebrook Rangers U10's red and it was our first season in division 1 and we was expected to get relegated and in my first season i was heavily regarded as one of the best players in the team and i enjoyed my football. i helped my team get to the Chad Benevolent cup final, we unfortunately lost 3-1 but i believe i did my best to help the team and in the same season we stayed safe of relegation. Throughout the season i scored 9 goals in 17 games as a striker/right midfielder, which i thought was a great achievement in my first season. After that i decided to join the same set of lads at Shirebrook RBL, which we played on sundays, so we had two matches a week and two training sessions a week, we won the divisions 3,2 and 1 back to back and for our first year in division 1 we was unbeaten in every match except for the cup final which we lost 2-0 but we had reached it every season for the next 3 years and unfortunately the club decided not to run anymore in 2011. The next season for Shirebrook Rangers seen us beat majority of the bigger teams and we finished second overall and got to the semi-final of both cups available to us. I played the first few matches as a striker scoring 4 goals, but then i had to play as a centre back for one match because we had a few players missing and we had to rotate the squad around and in that match i was praised a lot throughout the match because i put in a very good performance and for the next 6 seasons i had been playing as a centre back. The next season we were the best team in the laegue, winning the division 1 title and reaching both cup finals which were played at Alfreton Town FC's ground and the other at Mansfield Town FC's Field Mill which was an amazing experience for us all. Halfway through the 2011/2012 season i decided to join Shirebrook Rangers blue because i was not happy at Shirebrook Rangers red, and i started to enjoy my football again. I still currently play for Shirebrook Rangers blue and i have started every single match for them in the past season and a half playing as a centre back, goalkeeper, right midfielder, left midfielder and a centre forward but i dont mind where i play because i enjoy every position and all i want to do is play football.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I play as a centre back because of my pace and in every match i have never found it hard to out pace an oppositions player, which makes me happy knowing i am able to get to a loose ball before the other teams player. I also have the ability to head a ball which is good, i also have a good spring in me which ables me to challenge for a header. Also i don't jump into tackles and give stupid fouls away, i just jockey the player and eventually force the danger of conceading a goal away or if i have to i will put a strong tackle in. I am very calm and composed on the ball because as a centre back i believe that rushing and nerves will be punished with conceading a goal. I believe my dribbling is up to standard because when i dribble i take little touches of the ball to keep it under control. My short passing is very good, i also have the vision to play a through ball straight through or over the top of a defence. I can use both feet except i am mainly right-footed, i don't have a large amount of strength but my pace and acceleration make up for that and i am confident on the football pitch, except i dont dribble that often because i play it out wide from defence or if needed a large clerance. If i get an opportunity to shoot then i will shoot, i am capable of scoring long range goals.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An academy director should give me a trail because football means everything to me, all i want to do is play football and i mainly want to become a professional footballer. Ever since i took up an interest in football thats all i've wanted to do because it is such an amazing and exciting game and i want it to be part of my life so i can play football everyday. I believe that if i do get a trial and don't get in then i wont stop trying because i believe in my ability to succeed and i will give 100% because i believe if you dont think i am good enough then i will work hard because i believe that work rate is sometimes better than ability. And i never give up and i know that nothing is impossible because anything is possible in football and i am so passionate about football. I have so much love for football because whenever it is on the television i have to watch it no matter what i am doing and anything to do with football interests me because i love it so much and i show so much passion for football and without passion, belief, work rate and the desire for football you can't get anywhere and thats why i have all of those and if you decide to give me a trial then i will make sure i make most of it because thats what i want to do with my life and nothing else because football is my life!
