Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing at age 5. I made the zone team for under 12's in 2006 in the development squad and went to Gympie to play in the Gympie Cup with South West Queensland. In 2008 I made the zone team again but made the A team and played in the Kanga Cup in Canberra. I moved from Stanthorpe to Maclean and made my reserve grade debut in 2010 at right back. I made my centre back debut in reserve grade in 2011 and I stayed there until 2013, I also received the Players player award for reserve grade in 2012 when I was the centre back and captain of the team. I also played in the Summer Youth League competition with club in 2010 and 2011 in the back line, which is another competition that we play against the teams in the Far North Coast Football comp near Lismore and around there not our usual North Coast Football teams from Coffs Harbour and around there. I made my First grade debut at 18 at right back and I played there all year except for 3 games where I was dropped back to reserve grade and played at centre back.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My playing ability is that I am a versatile player who can play at both centre back and right back. I was originally an attacking midfielder in juniors up to under 16's but I have developed and become a proven defender over the years. I am strong on the ball, confident on the ball to take the space and overlap the midfield player in front and go on to attack the goal or cross the ball in, I can find the feet of the players in front of me with my improved passing game, I can challenge well in the air for a header.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe that an Academy Director should give me a trial because I am a passionate player and supporter of the game. I train hard to better my game and I give everything on the field when I play. I want to really make something of myself in the sport and I have always wanted to play at the highest level that I can achieve. I think that I can strive further with my game and become a much better player and achieve higher and greater things. If I was to be given the opportunity to trial I would not let them down and give my all for the length of the trial and never give up. I am not a person to give up at anything and during the game if we start to slack off or go behind I try to help lift the team.
