Write about your football history : I have been playing football since the age of 7, at the age 11 I move to the top local team in my area, Middlewood Rovers as a goal keeper and helped my team to win both the league and cup, 4/5 years I were there. I have spent the last season at Handsworth Juniors, where I have helped my club to win the league. I have recently been awarded players player of the season.
Write about your Playing Ability : I started out as a defender and then moved to midfield. Our goal keeper left so I decided I would step up and go in the goal, I still remain in the goal now as everyone thought I could reach my full potential there. Last season I moved from the best local club to an average one, this season I have helped carry them to win the league, as they say they wouldn't have been able to do it without me. I command my area very well, which I believe is a very important characteristic to have.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I think an Academy Director should give me a trial because I have breathed football all my life and believe that now is the time to take my playing career further and chase my life dream. I am a hard worker and want to reach my full potential with their help.
