Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : From ages 8-10 I attended a football development course where I won many trophy's, including MVP. From ages 12-15 I played for a local side called Cobras FC, whilst playing for my school football team too. From ages 16-19 I played for my college football team whilst undertaking my sports studies, where I gain my FA level 1 Football Coaching qualification. From 19-20 I played academy football for my college, where I was captain for their B team. For a short period During/after this I played for a side called Football Futures which was run by my academy coach.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a full back with plenty of pace & energy to burn. Despite full back being my main position, I have previously played as a striker, who has an eye for goal, a left winger who loves to cross the ball, and as a center back who is quite commanding & can head the ball. All of these combined gives me the edge as a left back as I can over lap my team mates to give them space, or receive the ball myself & cross it, plus being able to win areal duels, as well as being able to have a strike at goal from distance. Playing academy football has enhanced my passing skills which I believe is a big part of today's game.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe i should be given a trial as football always has and always will mean everything to me. Football is something i'm committed to and i will always give 110% whether that be playing in the park with my mates or if it was an actual competitive game. I'm an enthusiastic, dedicated footballer who knows how to motivate & encourage others around him, which is a key attribute you need as a footballer.
