Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I first kicked a football at the age of 3, and up until the age of 8 I only ever played at school with my friends during lunch break. I moved to Clacton on Sea April 2012 and after attending a few soccer training courses I was approached by my local club FC Clacton and invited to attend Thursday's training. After 2 training sessions I signed up for FC Clacton u9 blues 2012/2013 season in the Andrews Blues, Colchester and district youth league. As this was my first ever season with a club and lacking experience of competive league football I was used to begin with as a sub. My team went on to win the league losing only 1 game and reached 2 cup finals, the league cup losing 2-1 to the league runners up a match I had to sit out through injury and the open cup final losing only on penalties. We could have won both cup finals but for fixture congestion due to poor weather & cup success as we had to play 5 matches in just 8 days including the cup finals. In our last league game of the season we got revenge on the league cup winners by thrashing them 5-0 which was one of my best games scoring a hat trick with 2 assists.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have good technicall skills, fast and have quick feet. Strong in a tackle with good vision to pick out a pass or hold on to the ball untill a pass is on. I enjoy running down the wing using my tricks and skills to beat opponents and I always get my cross in or a shot off if in sight of goal. I am good at set pieces including free kicks, corners, and penalties. I can score with both feet and head and always work hard to get back and help out my defence when needed.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe I am a natural athlete and have the talent to become a professional footballer when I get the chance of training in an Acadamey. I like to entertain and I enjoy it when I hear the parents calling out my name after a good piece of play or a goal. After my first ever season playing football for a club I have grown in confidence and improved as a player and as a person. I am well aware of how difficult it is to become a professional so I take my education studies very seriousely indeed and I always work hard to improve my grades. You can see an example of my play and goals for fc clacton on youtube! I am in the number 10 shirt.
