Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : At the age of 11 I was scouted for Millwall and Charlton, however I did not attend those trials because I had major confidence issues. As the years progressed I became significantly more confident, and now I am able to express my potential in any situation confidently. This is when I joined an average Sunday league team to start off small, I noticed instantly that the quality was not up to the standards I wanted it to be. So, I just continued to play my best in every game hoping that one scout would come to give me that chance of progressing, hence why I am writing here today, to have that opportunity to have this chance as I believe I have the potential to amazing.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : As mentioned above my favourite position is the centre attacking midfield. I have good pace, as tested I have ran 100 metres in 11-12 seconds. I have good passing as in the 10 games I played for my team I made 12 assists, splitting the defence in most occasions. I always like to see the bigger picture and put in good balls when appropriate. I would say my dribbling and ball control is pretty good, I like to weave in and out of players to find that space to either restart or play a pass. As I am pretty small for guy being about 5 foot 7, I don't have the best strength, however I play very aggressive. My shot is decent, I can use both left and right feet, although my root foot is considerably more powerful but strangely less accurate, where as my left foot is more accurate but less powerful.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I think an academy director should give me a trail, because all my life I've been asking to prove my level of talent and potential to somebody, I have been hoping for quite some time. Although I had a chance at a young age my confidence put me down, I would hate that to believe that my confidence was the only reason I could not make it professional. I believe my potential is worth showing, and the talent I have already with help from professional could enable me to become something great. Like I said my main aspects would be my pace, dribbling and passing.
