Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing football when I was 7 years old for Meon Milton FC in Portsmouth. I was originally a centre-back as I was nearly always taller and stronger than my opposition. After 4 years, I left them to do Athletics for Portsmouth and Hampshire. Whilst playing with my friends at a local leisure centre, I discovered my talent for being a goalkeeper. I was asked to join Pickwick Youth in which I did until they folded before I could show my real potential. Since then, I have joined Cosham Blues and have played for them as their main goalkeeper.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I believe that I can be an excellent shot stopper. My ability that stands out most between the sticks is my diving ability, whilst I am still fairly good at handling the ball. I have a pretty decent kick but is out-shined by throws. This is because I can throw past the half-way line which is also more accurate than kicking.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe that I should get a trial from an academy as I believe I am ready to play at a higher level. Also, by receiving a chance, I would also be able to show my potential for being an excellent goalkeeper. Something I have not yet been truly able to show in my local league.
