Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I am an athlete first. My football career began as a 6 year old my dad used to take me to the park a lot to do some training however due to my speed was also becoming recognised as a sprinter. By the age of 9 I was already the quickest in my school and won every race and athletic championship that there was. When I turned 10 in year 5 I was asked to come and play for the year 6 team as a striker, and this is where things began to take off. I was spotted by a Wycombe wanderers scout in a cup final in which we won the game 3-2. I scored 2 goals one of them a penalty. He liked what he saw and had seen great potential for someone who he could work with and help move forwards. I went on trial but only had 4 out of the 6-week trial this was due to a misunderstanding with the club and my dad. As I lived in London Edmonton I was having to leave school very early to get to training 3 times a week. However there was a week (fourth) of the trial. Where the first team manger had come to watch our training session but I wasn’t there which the club weren’t happy about this was due to traffic after I had left early from school anyway and things went peer shaped and I ended up leaving. I then needed to continue playing however I had sats at the time so football had a back seat. Going to secondary school I found a club called whitewebbs I played 12 games scoring 39 goals. Before moving on to Woodford youth for the u13-u14 season. I scored 54 goals in 18 appearances’. I had been scouted by Arsenal as well as Southend in the season early on, however the manager at the time didn’t tell me until 3 months later as he wanted me to stay at the club. I ended up leaving and finding myself at Cray wanderers through a friend. (Semi Pro) we got to the London cup final and I scored in the final, which was a very good game. I scored 45 goals in 20 appearances and was scouted by crystal palace and Brentford in the process. I stayed on for one more season but only because I was playing for Kent county u16’s, as well as Middlesex u16. I played a showcase game V Birmingham City before being scouted and asked to come and train with the scholarship players at u18 level whilst still u16. Played for them but However after assessment in training and a match I was told i was just as good as there other attacking player in my position. Who now represents England at u18 level. Not to let that get in my way. I’m currently at Enfield town FC to keep fit and gain extra training to improve as a player further.
