Write about your football history : I have played football for most of my life. I started out with my school in Jerusalem. For the first two years I played on the Varsity Team and was mostly used as a sub. Then during my junior year, I broke out onto the first team and was MVP. My Senior year I became captain of our varsity team and was also MVP that year as well. From there on I went to study in America at a liberal arts program that lasted for four years. I played on the Junior Varsity team for four years and recently graduated with a BA degree in history.
Write about your Playing Ability : I think highly of myself in terms of my playing ability. I started out as a goalkeeper when I was a kid and then moved on to playing a more central role around the age of 16-18. I have played in many different positions since my coaches often considered me as a valuable asset to all positions. Thus I have played as a CB, a CDM, a CM, a RM and a CF. My preferred role, however, is as a CM.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I have always been passionate about football ever since I played with a ball and ever since I starting watching it on TV. I am passionate about getting involved with the sport even if it isn't through playing. Coming from a very conflicted region, football offered me a way out. It was a distraction. It was a time that allowed me to not think about all the violence and conflict around me. I took that distraction and made it my life, and since then, my life has become much better. If I don't become a player, I would love to help out by giving people like me the chance to be distracted by football.
