Write about your football history : I started playing football at the age off 11 at Melwood FC based in Norbury which is in south London. I wasn't up to the standard there but they took me on and I progressed quickly and by the end of my first season I was a first team regular. During this time I was captain of my school team who won Croydon schools 5aside tournament and reached the final of the Croydon schools cup. The following season I was awarded the managers player and fair play award. A year later I was given a trial at Crystal Palace Guards where I am currently. since the beginning of the season we have been unbeaten all season in the Selkent A-League and in the London County Saturday League. we are also in the quarter finals of all the cups we have been entered into. as a defender it is my duty to make sure a minimal amount of goals are conceded, I feel quite proud of the record that we have only allowed 9 goals to be scored in both leagues.
Write about your Playing Ability : Being tall (6feet) I tend to use my strength to an advantage. I am also considerably fast so I can track down players that I lose quite easily. I have represented my school in Surrey schools cross country 2 years running and been placed 50th the first year out of 400 and 27th in the following year which proves my stamina is good to an extent. I enjoy playing football , im not the type of defender to boot it up field I like to play from the back. play a one two with my right-back the pick a gap and play it through to a winger of midfielder , that's the way I play. composure is the main factor I tend not to panic because when I do its not a good thing. I also tend to communicate a lot with my players.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I should be given a trial because I always give 110% even when I'm out of breathe. I am also very punctual and my attendance will be very good because I have a passion for the game I play and I would hate to miss any opportunity to miss out on it. I you feel I haven't proved you I will also work until I have reached your standard.
