Write about your football history : School football- played for Ralston primary, made the final Paisley and district starting 11 for Scottish finals after a trial of over 250 players. Played for Paisley grammar school 93 age group winning the league every year, further at the school got in these years in the Scottish cup was the semi finals losing to Dumfries, got selected again for Paisley district team and made the starting 11. Club football- played with Linwood rangers for 5 years winning leagues and cups, representing the nation in tournaments in Preston and holland. Moved on to Glenbrae colts changing from a striker to a centre back and won Player of the year and Players player before going to amateur football with Mearns amateurs at the age of 16, playing there and gathering vast experience for 2 years then moving back to my age group of under 21 football where I now captain a strong St. Peter's team.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am tall 6ft 1, strong and have terrific pace, fastest player in any team I've ever played in and have never came against an opponent who I think could beat me for pace. I am strong in the air and read the game in front of me well, I posses loud communication skills and organise teams and relay instructions well. I am comfortable on the ball with a good range of passing skills and ball control. I am often described as very powerfull and consistently named as a top performer in games I am involved in. I trust my teammates with the ball and they trust me. I am also exceptionally determined,I never give up and always give 110% effort to my teams cause, I have very good fitness and leave everything on the park.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I am a responsible player and have a terrific attitude towards the game i love, playing the sport in the right manner. If given the chance I would work exceptionally hard to take any chance I could get. I would not spurn opportunities provided and know that if someone took the chance on me I could wholesaley reward them through hard endeavour.
