Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : My name is Cedric Benza and I am a 15 year old Zimbabwean-born Soccer player living in the South-Eastern suburbs of Victoria. I have played soccer for 8 years and want to better myself as a player. Last season i played Berwick City SC and Berwick City Academy as an Under 14A boy and i play in centre back position. We were the championship team last year in the FFV Boys' South 14A League and I was voted the Best & Fairest in the team. I also recieved a NSR US College Soccer Scholarship upon success in their trials. I am currently doing my studies at St Francis Xavier College, Beaconsfield at a Year 10 level and I am an aspiring footballer with 9 years of experience. This season I will be playing for Berwick City Soccer Club Under 15A Boys as i have been successful in the trials taking place from October 2012-February 2013.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a player which can adjust to any given position but play best when defending. My position in a game situation is Central Defender/Sweeper and I do well in playing as the last man.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I believe I am a deserving candidate for a trial with your team as I have potential to become a successful footballer and hope to improve my ability to read the game effectively
