Write about your football history : I first started playing football with Canvey Island Youths from under 7’s to under 10’s; positions played were defensive, right and centre back, right mid and forward. At age 9 I also trialled and played for Tottenham Hotspurs development centre and Southend Shadow squad. During my time with Southend shadow I went on two tours to Sweden and Belgium. In 2012 I then trialled and was selected to play for Thurrock YFC Alliance league where I have played to date. In 2013 I was selected to play for the Essex Alliance Rep. team. During the last year although I play for Thurrock under 14’s I have trained and on occasions played for Thurrock U15’s. Current positions played; both wings, upfront.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a versatile team player and can play in most positions both defensive and attack, my ability to read the game and create play is excellent. I am firm but fair with tackling and intercepting the ball. Technically I have very good ball control and skills and able to attack and create play with ease.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I am a hard working team player, self-disciplined and able to follow instruction. Through my love for the game I always perform to the best of my ability and want to progress and develop as a player. I feel that I have what it takes to be trialled at your academy.
